Go PAUL!!

The biggest news this World Cup wasn't some foul done during the match, some player hitting another or even a certain blind referee. Nope! This year the biggest story was about an OCTOPUS! Paul the Octopus to be exact. He has successfully predicted all the german matches and the finals!!


The unique thing about this guy (or should it be octo) is the way he predicts. He is given 2 canisters with mussels inside each with opposing teams. The canister he chooses to eat from is his predicted winner

Weird thing about this prediction was that it took him a while to eat the mussel. Guess he felt sorry for them too. And he completely ignored the Holland box !! I'm thinking he too was also surprised Holland made it through XD

Every single match he predicted came true!! There were many copycats including Mani the parrot from Singapore and Pauline the octopus from Netherlands. But they both predicted a Holland victory.

I want Paul so he can predict what will come out for MY finals :) But unfortunately, Paul is retired. Sigh.......

Vampires Rule, Twilight SUCKS!!!!

Yeah, you all heard me. TWILIGHT SUCKS!!!! What kind of mush for brains person would go for that show. I can summarise up the whole 4 books in 1 sentence: when girl doesn't have boy, she gets boy and when she's with boy, she wants another. It's not a vampire novel, it's a tory that happenes to have ugly vamps in it. That's about it. And the damn movies!!! Robert Pattyson is uglier than a pile of shit and his acting is worse than that. And below him on the acting panel is that dimm-witted girl, Kristin Stalwood. I've seen a piece of wood with better acting skills and emotions too.

What has happened to vampires. They have gone from sexy, bloodthirsty killing machines to lousy, moody sad creatures. I want Dracula's Legacy BACK. The new vampire novels have also gone down the drain. It is all plagarised from, gasp!, THAT book. And gets more boring page by page......

Have you guys heard, a 23-year-old New Zealand man was found dead in a movie theater Sunday after watching "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," reported NZHerald.co.nz. Paramedics who arrived on the scene to resuscitate him found no obvious injuries, which can only mean one thing: "Twilight" killed him. There are no coincidences in life.

The only mystery to solve is, was the unnamed gentleman a fan or critic of the beloved film franchise? Did he die in a burst of physiologically overpowering excitement, perhaps in the climactic battle between werewolves and vampires, or maybe just when Taylor Lautner first took his shirt off? Then again, he like so many male 23-year-olds outside the "Twilight" target demographic may have literally been bored to death. We'll never know.

In my opinion, the man died of boredom.

I miss my vampires. We, pre-Twilight vampire novel/movie lovers are true vampire fans and we demand a new standard of modern vampires.

Don't let twilight ruin the future of vampires.

Damn presentations!! Can't you let me enjoy my after holiday holiday!! T.T The day I came back to school 2 weeks ago was the day hell started all over again. English presentation, bio presentation, psychology presentation. T3T Too much man!!

What it the world was wrong woth me in January when I chose to do a report on cholesterol for English!? Stupid stupid stupid!!! Oh well, at least I did suicide for Bio. Weird thing was, My Eng report was too scientific while my bio report was not scientific enough..... Sigh....... You can't please everybody.
At the very least I think I chose a fantastic topic for Psycho: Schizopherenia!!! I think it pays homage to all those that I've met and known who have this disease. (Mel, Iven, Ace, Grace and almost everyone in that retard drama group XP) Lookout world, my presentation is next week!!!

At the time of writing, my clock says it's 2.28 am.

I don't know why I can't sleep. I love sleep. But then when it's time to sleep my body betrays me...... Then the next morning my alarm wakes me up and that's the time I WANT to sleep......

Watching TV now. I'm counting on the idiot box to make me drowsy... Wish me luck.

Midterms

MIDYEAR EXAM!!!!!!!

Since I AM taking he SAM course means I have no time to relax, everything counts!!! This means I have to do well in midterms otherwise I won't achieve my dream of TER90. Hmmm....... Starting to regret my decision, but at least it's better than Form 6 (It's currently orientation week for them) or A-levels ( I don't feel like wasting 18 months).

I;m envying people who have never started studying since SPM. (You know who you are)

I just noticed something, everytime I want to type Google, I tend to type out Facebook instead.... Is that weird or does it happen to you guys too?

Anyways, I havent been blogging for a long time. Just because college is so damn boring and I don't get to see my old friends like I used to :(

So what's new in my life, hmmm. Well, my mid-year exam is coming and I haven't started studying as usual. Somehow, even in college, I don't feel much urgency.

Oh yea!!! I went to this place "Pasta Zanmai". It's this jap restaurant serving pasta dishes. Yea, it sounds weird. I didn't like the thought either and a frend confirmed it either. So whhen I tasted the dishes the, the first thought in my mind was: "FUCK YOU (insert name of friend)!!!!!"

The food there was delicious. No pictures because I devoured it before I can remember. I had grilled jap beef with onsen egg and salmon pasta. MMMmmmm....... Then later washed it down with unagi pizza with an onsen egg on top......


The picture is actually chicken but I couldn't find the eel one....

Finally, I've just found out that a friend has started bloggerg. Yay!! Always nice to have a new kid on the block. I haven't checked it out yet cuz she so unkindly didn't tell me the url. But anyway, everyone join me to welcome the newest member of the blogging community..........Grace!!!

Last week I got an SMS from a friend

"Pls go to http://www.iyouweblog.com/ on tsunami this morning in Penang."

Needless to say i searched and found the page. In the page it was written that on 8 of April, a tsunami happened at 7.14 am. There was even a video.

However, after further digging, I found out thet the "breaking news" was actually crap made up by an idiot and a dumb moderator. The video was a modified version of the tsunami in 2004. Oh yeah, some other idiot copied and redid the whole page into his blog.

This got me thinking, some people are so gullible. That is why so many people are losing their money on fake get-rich-quick scams. Really, I bet you think Bert and Ernie were just roommates. Falling for tricks and jokes is one thin, but when will people accept the if it's too good to be true, it ain't gonna work. Seriously, if my friend had even an ounce of common sense she would have checked first..... And I wouldn't have wasted an hour!

Since I'm complaining here I might as well complain about another thing. WHY THE HELL ARE BOOKS SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE!!!! Looking at the original book covers, it seems that Americans and the English are paying less the 10 per book!!

No Wonder Malaysians only read 2 books a year! These books are considered luxury items because of their price! 35 for a book that takes 2 hours to finish isn't worth it.....

Because of this I have to be extremely choosy over what books I buy. Only the best make the cut! Fufufu. I love reading and I love money and I love chocolate(nothing to do with anything, I just love it) But when awesome books are in front of me I will swallow my pride and buy it.

But really, I would love to expand my home library, but my wallet and the Malaysian government won't let me!!

On a lighter note, I'm so freaking excited about 2 new series coming out by Rick Riordan, author of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series!!

First up is THe Kane Chronicles, unlike Percy Jackson, this is set according to Egyptian Gods! Kewl!!! Kane chorinicles is another book that is actually made for teens and pre-teens but I love Riordan too much to pass on this book. I've already read the first chapter, awesome!!

The book is in stores May 4th!!! That means it'll be in Malaysia 2 months after that......gah....

Another awesome book is a new Olympians series!! Yay!!!!

Today, Disney-Hyperion announced that the second series of Camp Half-Blood adventures will be called The Heroes of Olympus. The first book, The Lost Hero, will be published Oct. 12, 2010.

It will all be based on the prophecy said in the last Percy Jackson book:

"Seven half-bloods shall answer the call,
To storm or fire the world must fall.
An oath to keep with a final breath,
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death. "

This is gonna be an awesome book!!!
