Easter Camp, Day 1

Well, it should be called Night 1 since it didn't officially start until 5 but what the heck.


21 April, Thursday

Pizza for dinner man! I had half a pizza for myself but not enough la.... Yeah, I'm a glutton but that's what makes me AWESOME!!!!

7.12 pm
In a car, in the way to Anglesea. It's a 2 hour drive so I'm chilling in the back seat while other people drive me. I feel like a BOSS!!

It's raining heavily and it's dark. Highways in Aussie are not lit. Not good for a women driver. I hope I survive....

8.24pm
The rain has stopped!! Yay!! I discovered 1 good thing about highways having no streetlight, you can see stars!! So many of them too!! I think I see Orion!

8.45pm
Reached the campsite in 1 piece. Phew! Discovered the games room :D Had a game of foosball and ping pong. I think I'm gonna love it here.

9.50pm
Camp introduction. Found out that breakfast is 8.00am. Damn. I hate mornings......

10.10pm
SUPPER!!! Cookies, brownies and Hot Choc!! Hot Choc was actually Milo. Blurgh!! But it was cold so I accepted, comfort over taste....

11.00pm
After the quick supper (Yes, 1 hour is considered quick) went to games room for more games, won a round of Foosball. YEAH!!! 10:3 BABY!!! Also brought out my new Poohbear UNO set. Aussies have different rules for UNO. Weird people.....

12.19am
It's still too early to sleep. Decided to pass the time by reading Narnia. There are 3 bunk beds in my room, I'm on the top one (of course). Beds are kinda wobbly.... Hope the person below me can take my weight if I fall through XD. Good Night people!

Pasar Malam

Late post is late!!

Last Thursday, Melbourne U had a Pasar Malam. It isn't Taman Connaught but whatever, it's a bloddy PASAR MALAM!!!! There were so many people there! All the Ang Moh just stood in the middle and talked and ate. If they did that in Malaysia, they would either be run over by cars of trampled by friendly Malaysians

Another thing you don't see in normal Pasar Malam, GAMES!! The object of one of the games was to stack 5 apples on top of each other. It's easier than it looks :D I stacked 4 before is went tumbling down. :( Missed some free movie tickets too D:

No, it's not Char Kuey Teow. It's Vietnamese Fried Noodle, there is a Vietnamese name but I forgot what it's called.... Anyway, it was sweet. Too sweet.....

They were giving out free balloons!!! I LOVE BALLOONS!!!

See that truck at the back. There was FREE Ben & Jerry's ice cream as well. Yes, FREE!!! But the line was so fucking long, I had to wait 15 minutes just to get a cup...... then I lined up again!!!!!

Ack! Blurry! Damn. Pictured above is Indian Rojak. Yes, it's as disgusting as it looks. Blugh!! Cendol at the back wasn't bad though.....

PANCAKES!!!!!

I Gained Weight by Eating ONE Burger

I'm supposed to be downloading Glee right now D: Why did they push the premier of the new episode to next week!!?? I want my Glee now!!!! How can Ryan Murphy believe that us Gleeks can wait a month after The Kiss!!!

Oh, in other news, I ate a fried burger. Ya know the KFC one with DEEP FRIED CHICKEN instead of bread. In the US, it's called the Double Down Burger, here, it's just The Double...... Someone should tell KFC that trimming the word doesn't trim the fat.



My review of the burger....... DELICIOUSNESS!!!!!!

The burger is basically 2 pieces of bacon, 2 pieces of chess, KFC's delicious cheese BBQ sauce between 2 pieces of fried chicken. I had my doubts. I remember laughing out loud when Tracy Jordan suggested the almost the same exact thing on 30 Rock. But still...... It was gooooooood.

Nutritional Information
The original recipe burger has 1939 kilojoules, 22.3 grams of fat and 1681 milligrams of sodium per serve.
The Zinger burger has 2515 kilojoules, 35.7 grams of fat and 2058 milligrams of sodium.

Guess which I had?

Zinger.

Yeah. But only because I wanted hot 'n' spicy!!!!! And it was worth it.

It's the year of the rabbit and most places are cashing in on this particular animal.

Since bunnies are less scary than say snakes or dragons (wusses), Many advertising agencies are using the rabbits's image to promote things to children. But don't be fooled by the rabbit's long ears, pink nose and fluff; their bite can seriously HURT you!!

Chinese New Year is one of the hardest holidays. Not only am I leaving exactly 1 week after CNY, all the food and CNY cookies are threatening my bikini body. NOOOOO!!!!!! Siriusly, I cannot stop myself from munching all the goodies even after a huge dinner! Curse you cookies!!!

On an Unrelated note, I finished reading and re-reading Lost Hero. I think it's pretty stupid the I spend RM35 on a 2 day entertainment. I guess to save money I have to do one thing. KIDNAP THE PM AND FORCE HIM TO LOWER THE PRICE OF BOOKS!!!!!!! (For me at least)

Live to Eat

 Whoever said the phrase "Eat to Live" needs to be killed. Brutally.

I recently went to Latest Recipe, a buffet restaurant in Le Meridian KL.... BUFFET!!!!!!

BUFFET!!!!!! OMG! They have absolutely everything there. Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Indian, etc but the best part......

... Is the DESSERT!!!! Pictured above are toppings for Teppanyaki ice-cream... 40 of them!!!

And the marshmallows..... you can eat it as is or....

Dipped in chocolate!!! When you enter the restaurant the first thing you see is the glorious chocolate fountain! Drool.......

Seafood is fantastic too!!

This is the second time I have eaten there but the food there doesn't get boring. Both times there will be something new. If you haven't been there, I urge you to go!!

5S2009 Reunion

Last Saturday, 14 former classmates gathered in Shabu One at Lot 10 to celebrate their class reunion.

Wow, I sound so formal up there XD Need a better intro..... Oh! How about...

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, 14 people in their late teens went on a journey across the galaxy in search of...... Shabu One Restaurant.........

Last Saturday, a bunch of us Ex-Connaughtions gathered in Shabu One for a reunion. We had joy, we had fun, we had lotsa, lotsa food!!

As you can see from my 3 introductions, I'm pretty bored right now. I'm still fantasizing about prawns, honey chicken wings, durian ice cream and semi-cooked beef. MMMmmmmm

(A/N OK I've not only been bored, T've been busy and procrastinating too ^^. I'm only human!)

In Shabu One, steamboat was the main dish. However, they had some food already prepared for those (me!) who are too lazy to wait for the steamboat to cook.....

Lucky Friday 13th

I knew IT!!!

Friday 13th is one of the luckiest day in the world! For me at least :)

The day started nice enoug. Since the teacher already finished the syllabus, i had first period off. Which means I can sleep longer and have a decent breakfast for once. Yay!!!!

And the best part, class ended 2 hours earlier too!!!

Because of that, I had lunch with dad and mum. They asked me to choose a place for lunch.....
Hehehe...

I have always wanted to go to this place Souled Out ever since a friend mentioned it to me a few months back. Only catch, $$$. So naturally, I suggested there......

That night, i got slightly luckier, my mum's usual inedible porridge was actually good for once. (But then she got me by making me teach her how to make a graph on excel. Took 30 mins to get her to understand that you need to make a table first.......)

And last but not least, daddy chose this day to wear his pink office shirt.... Yeah....... And his new Blackberry wall paper was, get this, a blue butterfly with a PINK cherry. YEAH........ I had a LOT to talk about during lunch.......

Btw, Fettuccine Carbonara at Souled Out, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Anyways, I havent been blogging for a long time. Just because college is so damn boring and I don't get to see my old friends like I used to :(

So what's new in my life, hmmm. Well, my mid-year exam is coming and I haven't started studying as usual. Somehow, even in college, I don't feel much urgency.

Oh yea!!! I went to this place "Pasta Zanmai". It's this jap restaurant serving pasta dishes. Yea, it sounds weird. I didn't like the thought either and a frend confirmed it either. So whhen I tasted the dishes the, the first thought in my mind was: "FUCK YOU (insert name of friend)!!!!!"

The food there was delicious. No pictures because I devoured it before I can remember. I had grilled jap beef with onsen egg and salmon pasta. MMMmmmm....... Then later washed it down with unagi pizza with an onsen egg on top......


The picture is actually chicken but I couldn't find the eel one....

Finally, I've just found out that a friend has started bloggerg. Yay!! Always nice to have a new kid on the block. I haven't checked it out yet cuz she so unkindly didn't tell me the url. But anyway, everyone join me to welcome the newest member of the blogging community..........Grace!!!
